How does Try Before You Buy work?
Pick your favourites from our Try Before You Buy range (and add fabric swatches if you want to see extra colours). We ship them to your door via Australia Post anywhere in Australia. You get 7 days from delivery to try them on at home — no appointments, no pressure. On day 7 you send them back via Australia Post. Your TBYB fees are credited towards your final dress purchase when you place your order.
How much does the Try Before You Buy service cost?
First dress is $25. If you try 2 or more dresses, you get 30% off your Try Before You Buy order. And your TBYB fees are credited back towards your final full-price dress purchase when you order — so if you go on to buy, it works like a deposit rather than an extra cost.
How long do I get the samples for?
Seven days from the day they arrive. TBYB dresses are also used in our Brisbane showroom and by other bridal parties, so please return them on day 7 where possible. Need a little extra time? Reach out to our stylist team before your return date — we'll help where we can. Late returns may incur a fee.
Can different bridesmaids in different cities try on the same dress?
Yes. TBYB dresses can be shipped to multiple Australian addresses (additional shipping fees apply), making it easy for bridal parties spread across the country. Group chat approved.
What if a sample gets a small mark?
Try Before You Buy dresses are for trying on only, not wearing out. Minor makeup marks or light wear are okay — we clean between every bride. Significant damage or staining may incur a fee. Please return dresses in their original condition.
Is the TBYB fee refundable?
The Try Before You Buy fee itself is non-refundable — but it's credited towards your final full-price dress purchase when you place an order. If you go on to buy, it effectively becomes a deposit.
How do I return the samples?
Via Australia Post on day 7. We recommend Australia Post Express or Signature on Delivery so your parcel is tracked. Please take a photo of the package with the tracking number for your records. The return address is in your order confirmation. Note: return shipping isn't covered by Bridesmaids Only.
What happens if I fall in love with a dress?
Perfect — once you're ready, place your order and your Try Before You Buy fees are credited towards your chosen dress. Our stylists can help you pick the right size for each bridesmaid using the sample + your measurements, and match dye-lots across the bridal party.
